The six sentences I chose are from "Cousin F*cker" an essay I'd written and submitted to the Writer's Digest Competition in 2006. It ranked #18 in the Essay/Personal Memoir category. Since I'm working on a new one for

this year's competition

(due May 3), it seemed timely.
