Why the Page Works

You don't have to be a writer to journal. Nobody's grading this. Spelling doesn't count, and neither does grammar or whether it makes sense to anyone but you. What counts is that you got it out of your head and onto something that will hold it.
The page doesn't interrupt. It doesn't offer advice you didn't ask for, or tell you what it would do in your situation. It just receives what you bring it — and over weeks and months, it shows you how the story you're telling yourself has started to change.
A pen, some paper, ten minutes. That's the whole apparatus.
